Char Dham Yatra – The Ultimate Sacred Quest

Begin your spiritual journey with an early morning departure from Chandigarh. Drive towards Haridwar, the holy city where the Ganges River leaves the mountains. On arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ritual of light and devotion by the riverbank. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

After breakfast, start your drive towards Barkot. The route passes through Dehradun and the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie. Enjoy short breaks to admire the views of cascading waterfalls and lush green hills. Reach Barkot by evening, check in to your hotel or camp, and rest for the night in preparation for the first Char Dham visit.

Early in the morning, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri Temple. You can choose to trek or hire ponies/palkis. Reach the temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and offer prayers amidst breathtaking Himalayan surroundings. After darshan, return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot for overnight stay.

Spend some quiet time soaking in the divinity of the place. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and begin the drive towards Guptkashi. Enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan ranges, dense forests, and flowing rivers along the way. On arrival, check into your hotel and rest. In the evening, you may visit the ancient Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Today, proceed to Gaurikund, the starting point for your trek to Kedarnath Temple. You can trek or opt for pony/palki services. Reach Kedarnath, located amid the stunning backdrop of towering mountains. After darshan and exploring the spiritual aura, check into your guesthouse or camp near the temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Wake up to divine surroundings and, after morning prayers, begin the return trek to Gaurikund. From there, drive back to Guptkashi. Spend the evening relaxing and reflecting on the blessings received. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Badrinath, the sacred temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit Mana Village, the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border, and explore sites like Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul. In the evening, attend the serene evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple. In the morning, take a holy dip in Tapt Kund and perform darshan at Badrinath Temple. After spending some peaceful time in this divine town, begin your drive back towards Rudraprayag. Arrive and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, start your return journey towards Haridwar. Arrive by afternoon and check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure and local sightseeing or shopping. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
